Freshmen Math Initiatives

The University of New Orleans Department of Mathematics has taken several recent steps to improve the experiences of entering students as they take math classes.

Math Professors Tutoring: Your math professors and teachers also volunteer in the tutor center in Math 105, 107, or 110. They are here to help you, and you can come in any time and talk to them (whoever you are, whether or not you are currently taking a class from them.) Here is the current faculty tutoring schedule.

Online Help Through Math Tutor Center: You can go to http://uno.askonline.net/ to get online Q & A through the Math Tutor Center. Please look here first for instructions on how to use the online Q & A service.
